Mr. Douglas M. Casamer has over 25 years experience in the research of this book, and has produced two other working manuals for the Military Genealogist. Giving you every resource to address when searching your military records. He has spent fifteen years with the United States Air Force, Air National Guard, and the Air Force Reserves. A twenty-five year retired Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Macomb County, Michigan's third largest County. He has studied the Civil War from both his family history to hundreds of resources to provide this marvelous history of the Michigan Twenty- Second Infantry.
